ABOUT PU'UHONUA O WAI'ANAE

Pu'uhonua o Wai'anae is a safe, clean, and very well-run homeless encampment at the Wai'anae Boat Harbor on the Island of O'ahu.  It was organized under the direction of Twinkle Borge, who recently passed away on August 4, 2024.  Twinkle was an incredible leader and a compassionate neighbor who accomplished amazing things and helped thousands of people with no resources.

Her vision for a safe and secure homeless community has resulted in an ongoing project for communal housing to help the homeless people of O'ahu's West side.  More information here:
